Week 1 MTC Elder Holland!!

Dobar Dan!! Hello!!

YEAHHHHHH!  I'm so happy to be a missionary at the MTC! It really is the best! (But hehe fun fact- it's hard!!) I'm a week in and I can tell this adventure is going to pull me and push me in ways like never before. But how grateful am I to be a representative of Jesus Christ!

My companion's name is Sister Hart! she is SO cute! and what an example?! She is from Tennessee! We get along super great! We both love to run, and we both love ice cream (sladoled!!) And I mean, we both love Jesus- so what could be better?! She is a hard worker and fun to spend 24/7 with!

My zone is super cool! There are 13 languages! This includes Icelandic, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, and so many other cool languages. We spend over 8 hours a day studying Croatian and then lots more hours in the scriptures! We crash at the end of the day because of all the crazy!

I run into my best friend all the time! Sister Oppermann! So that makes life oh so wonderful!

fun fact- ELDER HOLLAND came and spoke to us on Tuesday! The spirit he brings is so amazing. He told us to be obedient and to do this mission the Lord's way! I was in the choir that sang Nearer my God to thee and WOW. How can you sing when you can't read your music? (let the tears flow!)

I love my district! We have 7 missionaries. The one sister is from Australia, Sister Garside from Smithfield!! Us 4 room together and it realy is a party! When the sister in the room next door trip a breaker.. We eat cinnamon rolls in the dark! hahah what a party!

I've already taught 3 lessons in Croatian! It's so crazy how fast we get thrown into it! But I love it!

Also... I need to work on not throwing peace signs..... It is actually a Serbian Nationalist sign and is bad in the mission.... SO haha, no more peace signs!

I love this gospel so much but more importantly- I love my Savior Jesus Christ. HE IS THE WAY.
I know this gospel is true and I know it's real!

Love you all!

Mission Call September 11, 2018-MTC January 23, 2019

We received these pics from her along with her first EMAIL from the MTC!
We are going to miss her, that is for sure!

She left us letters to read and even made an Awesome video!  Oh we love her!
                                   For Her Visa

Last of the Family Photos for awhile.

Taking the same bags that Hayli took.
All ready to go!

At Tacy's setting apart!  I couldn't handle taking pictures of the Goodbyes here so I didn't!

Saying Goodbye to Grandma Ruth!

Morgan took over Tacy's Computer and helped her pack

Tacy took the time to play catch with Mo the day before she left! I watched from the front room trying not to cry!
Everyone Began Saying Goodbyes!

Tacy had 60 people over after her Farewell talk. She gave a beautiful talk on Joy in the Gospel.
Morgan spoke with her and did an awesome job too.  The Bishop said that she filled the Gym fuller than the earlier week when there were 2 baby blessings. Tacy had friends and co workers and so many family members there to support!

We were so blessed with the opportunity to go to Kauai, Hawaii January 7-14

Tacy and Sophie and Brooklyn wanted a freezing cold Photo Shoot. They are the best of pals.

We enjoyed our family time together through the Christmas Season!

On November 10, 2018 we attended our first Live session at the SLC Temple.
It was so much fun. We bought See's candies and ate at the Cheesecake Factory!

We went back to the temple for pictures the next day

On October 26th 2018 Tacy and Sophie went to the temple together, it was a special day!

Tacy made us hike to the reflectors on October 12 and we hiked down in the darkness!

On Tacy's 19th Birthday we went for a Beautiful Hike. The Sunset was awesome! Tacy loves Sunsets

Tacy's Young Women President had also served in this Mission!  It was fun to hear from her!

The family planned a bean experiment presentation by Ashton Morrell.  Everyone gathered to hear him and Tacy came in from speeding home from SLC.

Tacy hadn't told me that she submitted her papers! She ran down to meet Sophie first to open their calls at the Salt Lake Temple. The Video of this is so sweet. They were both overjoyed.

Miss Tacy on her baptism day! She was baptized the same day as her best friend Sophie Oppermann! They were born a day apart the 27th and 28th of September 1999!
They submitted their mission calls a week apart and received them the same day September 11 2019.
They are both serving in Europe. Inside the heart cookie cutter I placed on the map! Adriatic North Mission and France Lyon Mission. Tacy submitted her mission papers on September 3 and had the call by email on the 11th.
